Covid-19 precautions

MatchPoints 2021 is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its guests and speakers. Aarhus University is following all official guidelines for public events to minimize the spread of Covid-19.

The organizers are closely monitoring new developments in the pandemic and will adjust the format of the conference accordingly. They are also working with Centralværkstedet, the venue of the Firday network event, to secure a safe environment for the participants, including strict hygiene protocols, safe food service and social distancing measures.

Changes to the programme and safety guidelines will be posted on this website as the event nears.

For guests and speakers

When sitting down, there will be a minimum of 1 meter between all speakers and guests at all times. When standing up or walking around, guests and speakers are required to wear a face mask or face shield. All the rooms in the conference are large and well-ventilated, minimizing the risk of infection, and the surfaces will be disinfected during each break.

To minimize unnecessary contact, speakers and guests are invited to attend only one track on each day of the conference. During coffee breaks, participants will be split into fixed groups that will be seated in separate zones. We invite everyone to sit down as much as possible, to avoid contact.

"Covid passport"

To attend the conference, participants must be ready to show a “Covid passport” (coronapas) meaning proof of either a finalized vaccine, previous case of covid-19 (within the last 14-180 days) or a negative PCR- or antigen-test taken within the last 72 hours. There are testing facilities on the university campus, close to the venue of the conference (12 minute walk).

Getting tested

You can get an antigen test (“quick test”) at the Falck Testing Center, located at Jens Chr. Skous vej 2. It is open 8 AM to 8 PM every day; the test is free for everyone, including foreign nationals. Make sure to bring your social security card and smartphone, as well as a face mask or face shield. You will receive your test results on your smartphone within 30 minutes. Read more about the test at the Falck website.

To be tested as a foreigner national without a Danish social security number (CPR), you must register through the website sts.covidresults.dk to view your test results.
